We're in Chicago for the 2014 AIA National Convention. Read our posts from the convention on the Daily News for the rest of the week.
On our arrival earlier today the city was blanketed in a thick fog that obscured many tall buildings. Unfortunately the fog was not thick enough to blur the TRUMP sign, one of the first things we saw on our ride from the airport to the hotel. Even after seeing photos and hearing locals debate it, the signage is much worse than could be expected. Shame on you Donald – you mucked up a good SOM building and tainted this stretch of the Chicago River.
