On the occasion of the exhibition Zaha Hadid: Early Paintings and Drawings at the Serpentine Galleries in London, four "experimental virtual reality experiences" have been developed by Zaha Hadid Virtual Reality Group in partnership with Google Arts & Culture.
The four experiences – Leicester Square, The Great Utopia, The World (89 Degrees), and The Peak – are virtual, 3D extensions of Hadid's large-scale paintings, some of which we were fortunate enough to see at Palazzo Franchetti last year. The appeal of the late Zaha Hadid's paintings is undeniable, and these immersive experiences explore one means of inserting them into wholly digital environments.
