Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman's sculptures aim to bring a smile to anybody's face. Take his Rubber Duck (about a dozen installations since 2007), in which the child's bath toy is scaled up many times and juxtaposed against boats and cityscapes. The 16.5-meter-high duck is docked in Hong Kong's Harbour City from May 2 to June 9, 2013. Defying purpose and intellectual scrutiny, the rubber duck is, as the artist puts it, "soft, friendly and suitable for all ages!"
