World-Architects attended the 2013 AIA National Convention in Denver, Colorado, last week, watching presentations, checking out manufacturers in the Expo, and hitting the town to visit buildings and go to parties. More coverage will follow in the eMagazine, but suffice to say now that one of the definite highlights was the Clyfford Still Museum designed by Allied Works. The textured concrete walls, perforated concrete ceiling, and complex layering of spaces made for a memorable experience and a fitting setting for Still's paintings.
