Location
Leipziger Platz 12, 10117 Berlin, Germany
Year
2014

In one of the latest and most modern shopping malls in Germany, the optician's store "Einblick" presents its products on a sales floor of approx. 50 square metres. The former activity at the Leipziger Platz and the former shopping centre Wertheim, once located here, inspired to take up old shapes and wall designs and to translate them into modern times.
The larger shop windows, nearly 5 metres tall, create perfect transparency. High-quality display cases on closed white bases ensure a stylish and inviting shop window presentation. The appearance of the classically designed shop front is skilfully reflected in the design concept of the small store. The impressive room height permits a sophisticated and effective ceiling segmentation to be installed. Its indirect and direct lighting gives it a very attractive and pleasant room feel. The white and modern interior appears pleasantly bright and clear. The full-height walnut wall segments, into which curved niches were built, are a special and at the same time harmonious accent. The exciting and skilful combination of styles makes the store particularly attractive and charming in a very special way.
