The concentration of outpatient and clinical features generates a hospital of short distances. In the Sonnenberg-Clinic we create a new central reception area, a new center for geriatric psychiatry, a confined space and a new patient boulevard. Simultaneously, the historic buildings on the campus can be intensively used for clinical features and central services. The new reception on the patient boulevard establishes an open, contemporary and "easy to find" address for the district hospital and helps to overcome an atmosphere of initial fear with patients and visitors.
