Ludwig Kindelbacher, who was born in 1965, graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim in 1990 with a degree in Interior Design. Having worked for two years at Schmidt-Schicketanz & Partners in Munich, he and Gerhard Landau then founded landau + kindelbacher architekten - innenarchitekten. In 1994 he was awarded a degree in Architecture from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. In addition to a teaching post at the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim and his appointment as a member of the Association of German Interior Designers in 1999, Ludwig Kindelbacher is a founding member of the Baukultur platform, a member of the Accreditation Federation of Architecture and Planning Degree Courses, and serves as an honorary judge at the Professional Court for Architects and Interior Designers. In 2004 he became a member of the Association of German Architects (BDA). 2011-2016: member of the representative committee and of the awards and competitions working group (AVW), member of the registration body of the Chamber of Bavarian Architects (2016–2021). Gerhard Landau, who was born in 1965, graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich in 1990 with a degree in Architecture. Following a two-year stint at Michael Hopkins + Partners in London he returned to Munich and in 1994, together with Ludwig Kindelbacher, founded landau + kindelbacher architekten - innenarchitekten. Critical reviews of projects in Munich, Rosenheim and Paris as well as a two-year teaching post at the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim reflect his interest in concrete planning work and at the same time academic discourse. In 2004 he was made a member of the Association of German Architects (BDA) and became member of the Association of German Interior Designers in 2011.
