Superimpose designed 41 rural country houses for a new BnB village in Guizhou Province. The interior and exterior are designed to be simple and calm, promoting a serene life style connected with nature with views towards the karst mountain landscape. Instead of total demolition of the old village, the masterplan makes use of some of the existing structures for special functions. The development also boosts a restaurant, exhibition space, yoga space, library and a dance studio. Dealing with the hilly terrain, whilst providing comfort and accessibility has been a mayor challenge during the design stages.
