The Da Yao Wang Buddhist Temple is dedicated to the King Emperor Shennong, legendary known as the Herbs Emperor according to the traditional belief for which he studied, discovered and created the roots of Chinese Traditional Herbal Medicine.

The project has been personally developed by Freddy Curiél with his DGJ Architecture and Landscapes Team, together with the local Buddhist community and the Anren Municipality.

The whole religious complex is based on the proportion of the human body, with all the most important functions and buildings organised according to the alignment of the Qi points.

The main axis is visually and physically connection the mountain side to the river, in the most efficient and proficient Feng Shui evaluations.
