Falls Villa
Madeira, Portugal
This architectural project on the intricate slopes of a breathtaking Portuguese island aimed to harmonize uniqueness with the location's natural essence. The villa's layout carefully preserved the vistas through expansive terraces and panoramic windows, utilizing cascading floors. The Falls Villa concept further incorporated water features, like a basement waterfall, while the villa's rooftop greenery rendered it nearly concealed when seen from above. Materials, including warm woods, slate stone, bronze details, and extensive glass, were chosen to honor the locale's character.
