House K in Leipzig is made to measure for the large musical family of a composer of modern music. The house was carefully integrated into the mature trees on the property. An old wall shields the area from the street and ensures the necessary privacy.
The large living room on the garden side with its folded ceiling and facade design is also regularly used for home concerts. There is a recording studio for the family members on the upper floor.
The roof is divided into three green saddle roofs, two of which support the thermal solar system on one side. The house complies with the low energy standard and contains a ventilation system with heat recovery. An overall slim technology concept offers great thermal and acoustic comfort for the residents.
