Following a change of the premises, the Lufthansa Lounge at the Airport Milan Malpensa has undergone an extensive relaunch. The lounge area was extended to 550 sqm, and completely redesigned. Representing a new exclusive concept, the lounge aims to be a pioneer in the design of future Lufthansa lounges, turning the brand into a tangible experience. The new representative area is characterised by a clear minimalistic design with resting zones reminiscent of the cosy atmosphere of a private living area.
The focus is on privacy, comfort and a feel-good atmosphere. The regional context is reflected by incorporating the airport theme and Milan’s fashion status into the design concept. Several sources of light accentuate high-grade furniture, creating an inclusive resting area with individual room for privacy. A front cooking station and coffee corner supplement the lounge concept, inviting passengers to linger.
