Since the stock looked very dark, the main focus was the modification of the Development Office at Plant 1 on a relatively small footprint to design a modern light and bright working environment.
The scope included a new interior design, wall paneling, furniture and carpentry work. Into three zones 23 jobs were created. Two rows of desks are connected via a communication zone in their midst. Held on the front facade workplaces are all open, all placed inside the room are divided by partitions into niches.
To allow adequate light supply of all jobs on this work cubes an additional light bar was installed. Between white plasterboard stud walls that give the room a natural light and act as sound absorbers, the furniture is emphasized with a technical focus individual plastic contrasts. A remote with blue stripes on the upper wall region raises the ceiling on optically.
Integrated into the walls are shelves and illuminated display areas to present the developed actuators.
The highlight of the office forms the meeting recess. A monitor, which was set flatly into the wall seems to extend the desk, which oscillates from the wall to the ground.
The target is to combine the benefits of an open-plan office, as communication and teamwork, with the possibility of individual work.
