The plot of the nursery St. Lucia is island-like in the middle of a pure residential area. Due to the wedge-shaped cut, the development is carried out from the shortest side of the plot.
An elongated roof forms the entrance area and leads to the main part of the children's playground, consisting of five building parts, which stand out from each other due to their differently inclined roof shapes. Its star-shaped orientation gives each of the buildings a high degree of autonomy.
Large glazed windows allow a view into the landscape and create bright, open spaces and a lively atmosphere.
The space-related color concept also emphasizes the autonomy as well as the different functions of the buildings and emanates facets to the outside.
The connection between the five soloists is ensured by the centrally located community and movement area. With its twisted niches and small retreats, he creates a playful stage for his small inhabitants, who can let their imagination run wild.
