New construction of a recreational and thermal baths with sauna,
The shape of the recreational baths is modelled on the pictures of the surrounding landscape: the blue spring basins at the edge of the Swabian Alb and the numerous caves, the steep and towering rock walls of the Danube Valley and the tall trees of the Black Forest. The grey baseplate of the entrance area turns indoors into a "rocky" lake-plate with freely-formed blue pools. Between the pools are trees, encased in glass cylinders which rise through the roof. The large timber roof is suspended above the bathing landscape. Various shades of green, blue, red and orange suggest a canopy of leaves. This reinforces the approach of the pool's design in the landscape: the pool in the green.
