New construction of a sports and recreational baths with sauna area.
The baths is divided into three sections in accordance with the functions “sport, recreation and sauna” – a restored sanitary and changing area connects the sections together. This structure enables the building to be used in parallel between schools and clubs on one hand and the public on the other, as well as separate use of the sauna area. The difference in the form and design of the three areas reflects their different uses: a functionally structured sports area, optimally organized with a restrained architecture; an adventure-orientated recreational area with water attractions, a slide tower, a children’s area, an eating area and reclining areas on two levels; a relaxing sauna and spa area with several saunas, cool-down areas and various applications. Varied surfaces, warm shades of colour, alcoves and light effects invite the visitor to relax and discover.
