TM Studio office is just an ordinary residential unit near Tongji University. It took only thirty days to transform it from a flat into an office. The design is quite simple. Firstly we removed all the non-supporting walls, expended and merged the previously separated small rooms into a unified space. After the removal we reorganized it into several wooden coated rooms, which can be used as one space as well as separated with moveable folded wooden doors. Different conditions appear; it can be used as a workshop, a reading room, a meeting room, or even for a party. The rough and original structure of the surface are kept and juxtaposed with the new wooden interiors.
