Switch Building is a 7 storey apartment and art gallery building at 109 Norfolk Street in the Lower East Side.  The building consists of four floor-through apartments, a duplex penthouse, and a double height art gallery on the ground and cellar levels.  Each apartment has unique light qualities and views up and down the street, through front façade bay windows and rear façade balconies that switch back and forth from floor to floor.  Switch Gallery has a steel and glass storefront and canopy that opens completely, allowing for events to extend onto the sidewalk and provide a public identity for the building.
