Three works to obtain the degree of architect at the School of architecture of the University of Talca.

The three architectural objects have been designed, managed and built by students of the School of architecture of the University of Talca (Chile) as part of the titling work, a titling format that involves facing real architectural problems.

The definition and implementation of Degree thesis as a performed work allowed checking students’ appropriate skill acquirement through items composing the educational process: investigation, management, design, building and distribution. Thus, the approach of real issues in factual circumstances through small-scale interventions in a final graduation test became the most visible expression of the school by involving a change in the academic practice and a new student attitude.

The three works that are part of the project “Three places to inhabit the mountain range in the Maule region”, correspond to three small-scale architectures, located in strategic locations in the Andes Mountains. Small infrastructures associated with the localities where they are located and where it is established as a common element the territorial approach and the link that each work establishes with the local cultural landscape.
