Conversion of a farm equipment warehouse in Yoro District, Gifu Prefecture. The client wanted a space where he could always feel the presence of his family, a large kitchen because he likes to cook, a child's room that would not be confined, and white walls that would be used as a backdrop for photographs. When thinking within a limited budget, we decided to leave the large warehouse space as it was and configure it in such a way that a white box would be placed there. By doing so, a wide LDK space, a child's room on top of the box, a bedroom and water area inside the box, and various other places were created, and all the requirements were satisfied. It also creates a sense of renewal. The plan was to change the use of a large warehouse into a residence, thereby creating a rich living space.
