The project is to transform the top floor of an old factory into a penthouse. The specific character of the space is its length, with the longest side facing southwards. Taking this fact into consideration, all the "service" areas e.g. storage, kitchen, toilet etc are situated in the north side, leaving the southside for all active living functions. By using wide sliding doors in the separation walls, one can feel the whole length in the southern space. The vestibule is a glass box penetrating from the outside into the loft space.
